Non-Destructive Testing

After performing the lab works described in this book, students will know main parameters of various non-destructive methods; operation principles of measurement instruments and transducers; the advantages and limitations of various non-destructive testing methods, will be able to apply the non-destructive testing methods for testing of different components. The book will help to gain knowledge about selection of proper NDT methods for different types of components and to understand the particularities of measurements of objects made from different materials. The laboratory works are intended for master students having course “Experimental Techniques and Non-destructive Testing”, PhD students having the courses in “Non-destructive testing techniques” and “Ultrasonic measurements”
